I was recently uploading some files and discovered one server on the grid was being very slow. The activity screen in the WUI showed it taking over a minute to perform operations that the other servers were performing in seconds.

I'm not sure how to deal with this gracefully generally, but to work around the problem I used the introducerless feature in the truckee branch to stop using the slow server altogether.
